⭐ We’re delighted to announce that our long-established AECB CarbonLite Training courses have secured funding through the UK Government’s Warm Homes Skills Programme (WHSP). Places are now available with up to 60% of the cost covered by UK government funding across England.
🔎 This initiative is designed to upskill the retrofit workforce and accelerate the delivery of energy-efficient homes across England, by helping learners build the skills needed to deliver low-energy, high-performance buildings.

• Understanding Building Physics – For new entrants or those hoping to skill up. This course breaks down the barriers created by a lack of knowledge and confidence about building physics.
• CarbonLite Retrofit Foundation – This intermediate course is for everyone serious about best practice in retrofit, this course is packed with need to know knowledge, processes and insights for successful retrofit.
• Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Assessment – This advanced course is the foremost UK certification for individuals overseeing domestic retrofit initiatives and programmes. On completion, you’ll gain full accreditation and qualification as a Retrofit Coordinator – equipping you to confidently tackle challenges and seize new opportunities. Delivered with Synergy Training Centre, a trusted and established provider in retrofit.

• Open to applications from anyone living in, or completing the majority of their work in, England
